Aggregated Feelings
Aggregation collapses many rows into summary values such as sums, counts or averages, so the joke is reducing a day of mixed emotions to one tidy number.
Sum, average, count: every aggregate is a small act of editorial judgment. Each one decides what to keep and what to let go, and nobody files a complaint about the rows that vanished in the rollup. Aggregated Feelings is for the hour when you notice that the same logic applies to your week.
Queue it up when the last query returns one tidy number and you suspect the real story lived in the detail. Good data people know which losses are acceptable. The rest of us add a median and call it closure.
