Not every decision has to be made on day one. Late binding postpones the resolution of names, types and structure until the query runs, which makes a system tolerant of change and slightly harder to debug when something does drift.

Late Binding Lullaby is for the modeler who keeps the schema loose while the source settles and declares the contract afterward. The trick is knowing when flexibility has turned into ambiguity. Decide late, but decide on purpose.
