An embedding turns a word, a sentence or a document into a list of numbers, a point in a space with hundreds of dimensions or more. The compass has limits. Distances belong to the model that produced them, so vectors from two models are not comparable, and closeness measures similar usage, not truth. Check a few neighbors by eye before building on them.
