Vibe coding means describing what you want to an AI and accepting what comes back with little line-by-line reading. It is fast, often delightful and frankly fine for throwaway scripts. Trust the Vibe, Then the Tests is the sequel: once the code will be relied on, tests turn a feeling into evidence.
Write the test first, or at least before you merge. Cover the edge cases the AI is unlikely to mention, such as nulls, empty inputs and time zones, and run the suite on every change. The vibe decides what to build. The tests decide what ships.
