The DAG Knows the Order
A DAG, a directed acyclic graph, describes tasks and their dependencies with no cycles, so an orchestrator can run each task only after everything it depends on has finished.
Some tasks must wait for others: the model cannot build before the load finishes. A DAG, a directed acyclic graph, writes those dependencies down, and an orchestrator runs each task only once everything upstream has succeeded. The DAG Knows the Order is the relief of not keeping that sequence in your head.
No cycles is the rule that makes it work, since a loop has no valid order. Independent branches can run in parallel, and a failure blocks only what depends on it. Keep tasks small, idempotent and named for what they produce, so a rerun from the failed node is safe.
