Hot Reload Cold Coffee
Hot reload applies code changes to a running application instantly, without a restart, which keeps a developer in flow long enough for the coffee to go cold.
Hot reload removes the restart, so the loop between idea and result shrinks to a second. Hot Reload Cold Coffee is the side effect: you look up an hour later, the mug is at room temperature and the component finally works.
Fast feedback is the most underrated productivity tool in data work, too. A dashboard tweak, a transform, a small script: the tighter the cycle, the more experiments you run. Keep it going while you iterate, and reheat the coffee afterward.
